We are proud to share the February 2026 monthly progress report for the Vanguard Project in Domiz Refugee Camp, Duhok, Iraq. Supported by DanChurchAid, our team at Mile Organization, in close coordination with IKMAA, continues to foster safer and cleaner communities.

This month, our dedicated teams conducted a total of 72 awareness sessions across the Domiz 1 and Domiz 2 camps. This included 46 Explosive Ordnance Risk Education sessions and 26 environmental awareness sessions. Through these concerted efforts, we successfully reached 1,273 beneficiaries of all ages.

Key highlights from February include:

Completing a refresher training for 46 Safety and Environment Ambassadors to enhance their community leadership skills.

Distributing comprehensive hygiene kits to local schools to support clean and healthy learning environments.

Reaching 406 beneficiaries through 20 specialized Explosive Ordnance Risk Education sessions.
