On August 5–6, MILE Organization for Environmental Protection conducted a capacity building training in Erbil focusing on Information Management, GIS, and Data Visualization.
We were pleased to facilitate this workshop for participants from the Iraqi Kurdistan Mine Action Agency (IKMAA), alongside IHSCO, Shareteah (SHO), Bustan, Basra, Al-Atheer, Sport Spirit (SSO), and Dar Al-Salam Organizations.
The sessions provided local organizations and agencies with practical, open-source tools to:
Manage information cycles effectively.
Map operational activities using GIS platforms.
Develop evidence-based dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
This initiative is part of our ongoing partnership with The HALO Trust under the Mine Action and Cluster Munitions (MACM) III Programme (2025–2030), funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
